‘would not be guests … but permanent residents there’.10 Similarly, peace, quietness and trust are ordained for God’s people (17), and a peaceful habitation, secure dwelling and a quiet resting place are promised (19). Finally, happiness is assured (20). It almost mirrors Psalm 23, in which it is the Lord, as a shepherd, who ushers in his complete blessings.
